Hazard Emergency Management International’s (HEM International) Corporate Social Responsibility Statement (CSR) addresses our responsibility regarding our values and interactions with systems external of our company; these may include, but not be limited to, individuals, corporations, communities and the environment.
The SCR statement is born of an overall ethos and subsequent policy framework representative of a reflexive body who aspire to give back to all within our greater business and social systems. At the fundamental core of our business, we are committed to assisting stakeholders and the global community through synergistic-empowerment and sharing our business success with those in need.
Hazard Emergency Management International strives to be a responsible business meeting the highest practice standards regarding ethics and professionalism.
Our Company’s social responsibility falls under two categories:
Compliance refers to our company’s commitment to legally and ethically sound practice standards. These practices will embody values that continuously strive to be caring, hold citizenship in our global community, and embrace fairness, respect, responsibility and trustworthiness.
We corporately define pro-activeness as having the initiative to act in a just and altruistic fashion, with beneficence and non-maleficence at the core of all behaviours. It is envisioned these cornerstones of corporate behaviour will promote human rights, help communities in need and protect the environment, while encouraging strong, enduring corporate relationships with allied parties.
HEM International endeavors to engage with organisations who align with, and support our core values of community investment in essential services that develop and sustain health, safety and environment.
Finally, HEM International is committed to the United Nations Global Compact; supporting this with actions that promote and preserve our identity as a socially aware and responsible business. Management shall communicate this policy at all levels and take immediate action to resolve any corporate social responsibility issues should they arise.
